This book is so good. It's not "literature" and it'll never be a classic, even in the young adult genre, but there's just something about it that is so funny, so sweet, and just keeps me coming back for me. I often re-read books, but there are very few books that I've read almost 10 times, and oddly enough this is one of them. It always puts me in a good mood and can make me smile on the worst of days. I checked it out the library half a dozen times before I gave in and just bought it. It won't change your life, but you'll have a pretty happy few hours.

24 Girls in 7 Days Splashproof ed Alex Bradley Books Reviews

I stumbled across this in the library and took a break from Chuck Palahniuk to check it out -- it was surprisingly wonderful. I seriously could not put it down. The characters are fully developed and the writing is solid. The protagonist/narrator is witty, intelligent, and likeable, yet flawed enough to make him human (sort of reminiscent of Olive in Easy A, if I had to compare). More than likely you'll find yourself rooting for a particular girl to "win" Jack; this is definitely an engaging read. I would highly recommend it.
Jack can't find girl for prom. When he think all's last, he's best friends silly, wild Percy and sister-like Natalie but personal message on school-news-site. After their story, 200 girls showed up and they made list of 24 girls. Now Jack need to see all of them for 24 day. But then he finds out for girl who calls herself "Miss FancyPants" on internet, who send him warnings to be careful, but she still looks like she's in love with him. Who "Fancy Pants"? Will Jack find date for prom? Who will take place of his prom-date? Will it be girl from list? What if Jack finds out that he might be in love in girl that's not on list? And what's with all warning that "FancyPants" sent to him?

I started reading this book today, about 2pm, and I finished it few moments ago. Other word, I couldn't put it down! It's not PERFECTLY written, it's not Sheakspir or something like that, but it's so much fun! Like first, this is one of rare teenage books that is written from BOY'S point of view, what's fun in 1st way. It's good that it written on way not to be vulgar, no matter it's 18-year-old-boy we're talking about. Jack is like other boys, but he has something special, his character is interesting as well as every girl that he met. Ever character we see in book has his behind, his own story, no matter does that character shows in all book or just on half of page. What I like most about character is that every character has own kind of clothes, look and wayhe/she acts like, that I just couldn't resist to think about this book as movie.

Story has some clichés, some lines we always see, but it's special, and it has that "something" that keeps your attention. It's not just silly teen-age book, it's much more than that - it goes throe ALL ways of teen-age life, all ways of teen-age thoughts. It has some mystery-story in it too, it's beset on it. OK, it's not mystery as Agatha Christy could write it, but it's just mystery what happens in life of one 18-year-old-boy who's looking for prom-date. Things that I liked best are that Bridget, Natalie's sister, is only 13 and so smart - as being 13 my self, I like the book was showed her feelings for Jack and her mind. Other thing I liked is Jack's feelings - he likes all girls he met, he doesn't want to hurt anyone of them. He can't chose which one he likes best - could that be Callie? Or shy, but still wild, Sarah? But Pamela is so elegant! And how about Natalie herself? And then "Miss FancyPants" shows up, and changes his mind completely!

Wonderful book! I really liked it! It's defiantly more then teen-age book, but still every girl (AND boy) should read it, if not to learn something, then for fun! Also, it could be make in fantastic movie! I loved this book vary much (no matter writing is not best), and I'm going to read it again!
After being rejected by a girl Jack Gammar asked to go to the prom senior prom; his best friends Natalie and Percy , place a personal advertisement in the online school newspaper. Since there is only a week before prom since so many girls responded they decide that Jack will at least have to go out with 24 girls; since there are only 7 days in a week thats how the plans name came about 24 girls in seven days or operation 24/7. Also, while this operation is in action a mysterious girl who goes by Fancypants leads hints and clues along the way of some major secrets.

My absolutly favorite part of this book is when Jack goes on a date with Laura Gillden and after he arrives home he gets a huge surprise. First he is drunk and then he sees these two drunk girls that are slowly driving by that say " Hey Jack can we both be your prom dates?". Also, while they are driving by across the topless chests they have written on one girl "C K" and on the other "J A" then the relize that they were backwards and it then says "JACK".

I love books with humor, romance, and a little mystery. Let me say that this book turely covers it all and by far is one of my absolute favorites. After reading how Jack dates the girls it really makes me think about what type of person I am and what person I will want to date. Also, how a relationship with someone can really effect someone's life. So if this book sounds like something you would read then I would highly recomend it!
I purchase this book for my daughter age 14 for school summer project. A month later and my daughter has not been able to move pass chapter 3. She finds book to be boring and not engaging. My daughter loves reading. I was very disappointed to see book that was chosen for her as summer project was the one and first book she has ever put down. As a parent this one I would advise you PASS....
Not very good. It was extremely perdictable and not written the best (it seems like its written for a younger audience but some content suggests otherwise). I dont recommend this book.
I would definitely recommend this book for ages 14-20. Good Teen/Young adult book. I really liked it! Jack is a sweet guy, and even though his friend's set him up, he tries not to hurt the girls. I thought this book was very witty and it captured my attention.
Excellent and Timely
